Fred Thompson sure has been in favor of obstructing justice. His vocal, partisan support of Scooter Libby is well-documented.

It now appears that he has a long pedigree in obstructing justice for Republican ends. Meet ex-Senator Fraud, Watergate Mole.

Exactly.Fred's questioning

Fred's questioning of Butterfield was choreographed and staged -- just like Howard Henry's "What did you know and when did you know it" mantra -- all designed to make it look like the two of them were tough and impartial. I've said it a bazillion times on this Forum: Phred's a Phony who's never been scrutinized. Just wait and watch the air go out of this gigantic old gasbag.
