UT, can I request a class free of guns?

Dr. Bob Legg, a professor in the UT School of Journalism and Electronic Media,

At the beginning of each semester, he tells his students that he carries a concealed firearm and the class has a discussion on safety.

I feel less safe already.

Mark, how do you feel about this?

I would not take that class. I certainly would not feel safer. Arming teachers is a dumb idea and this is an example.
