ESPN was showing the UGA band's half-time performance at the Rose Bowl. I wasn't paying close attention, but I thought, hey, that sounds familiar. I turned it up, and it was Whipping Post. They continued the medley with Midnight Rider and Black Hearted Woman before ESPN cut away. A tribute to Gregg Allman? Anyway, it was pretty cool.

(The way the game is going, Whipping Post was appropriate.)

UPDATE: It was indeed a tribute to Gregg Allman. They performed it earlier in the season. Here's the story...
