Today, the Tennessee House Civil Justice Subcommittee was scheduled to hear a bill banning bump stocks. Two survivors of the Las Vegas mass shooting were there to testify.

Republican subcommittee chair Mike Carter rolled the bill without allowing any discussion and without allowing testimony fom the survivors. Carter said the action was taken at the request of Republican Majority Leader Glen Casada.

80% of Americans support banning bump stocks. Even Trump said he was working on a ban. Who does the TNGOP represent?
