I'm supposed to care about this why?

Fair question.

Fair question.

"Still a better love story than Twilight" and the DesJarlais mess in Lincoln Davis' old district which Roll Call calls "an interesting story from 15 seconds after the polls close."

I still don't see why I'd

I still don't see why I'd care about a divorced guy in NJ having a girlfriend.

THAT's the big sex scandal??

THAT's the big sex scandal?? We need to introduce these folks to Dejarlais.

I've never visited this particular site, BTW. Will take awhile for the stench to go away.

Disappointing isn't it? Well,

Disappointing isn't it? Well, for the right-wing tabloids, anyway. He's 20 points ahead of his opponent and busy cleaning up after a hurricane, as is the governor who would appoint another senator if he resigned.

And in other news, the hits

And in other news, the hits just keep on coming for the GOP:

Delaware state Senate candidate Eric Bodenweiser — whom former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell endorsed, praised and donated money to — was indicted by a Sussex County grand jury on a whopping 113 child molestation charges for raping a boy 39 times over a three-year period. Bodenweiser, a vocal born-again Christian and tea party supporter who is now under house arrest awaiting trial, withdrew from the race on October 18th.

Bodenweiser is a member of the Delaware Family Policy Council.

Bodenweiser’s brother, Paul, who lives in Kingsport, Tenn., said he was questioned at length last week by a Delaware State Police detective seeking information on his brother.

He would not disclose the nature of the conversation, but said that “there is absolutely nothing concerning my brother that would surprise me.”

The brothers’ relationship has soured to the point that Paul Bodenweiser has published a website to campaign against Eric Bodenweiser’s 2010 and 2012 state Senate campaigns.

WASHINGTON -- Tennessee voters looked past revelations about Republican Rep. Scottt DesJarlais' past affairs with his patients -- and his demand that one get an abortion -- to vote to return him to Congress Tuesday.

DesJarlais, a physician, admitted to at least four flings during a divorce that he finalized in 2001, including one mistress he pressured to abort their love child.

DesJarlais argued that the news was old, and that he only promised to accompany the woman to Atlanta for the procedure after about four months of pregnancy because he did not believe she was pregnant.

Voters seemed to accept his explanation, and voted overwhelmingly -- 57 percent to 43 percent -- for the family values, anti-abortion Republican over Democratic state Sen. Eric Stewart.
