Workman, 53, was pronounced dead at 1:38 a.m. after a lethal cocktail of drugs was injected into his body as he lay strapped to a prison gurney at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution.

Workman’s final words were brief.

"I've prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ not to lay charge of my death to any man," Workman said.

About two minutes later, with his eyes closed as he gulped, somewhat nervously, Workman uttered his final words: "I commend my spirit into your hands Lord Jesus Christ."

He then turned his head slightly to the left and lay motionless, as an ashen color overtook his face.

Deadly Silence - Proof Of Innocent Man On Death Row 11:13

Workman is scheduled to be executed on May 9. Please watch this video so you can see he is most likely innocent of the crime for which he is going to be executed on May 9.

The "eye witness" was not at the crime scene. Is that not enough to call this into question?

The case of a mentally deficient death-row inmate in Mississippi prompted a recent three-part investigative report by the McClatchy Newspapers into the failure of lawyers to adequately defend death penalty cases in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Virginia. They reviewed dozens of recent cases and found...

[W]hy not just pull a very sharp knife across the inmate's neck?

Good question. It works for the third-world cesspools we apparently aspire to become. And it would certainly be more cost effective. A little messier perhaps, but "normal" citizens don't have to see it or clean it up. We just have to go along.

A Koran in one hand, and hoodless. * By his own choice. Defiant to the end, but reports say he was scared. Well, of course he was scared! He was about to find out the Ultimate Answer, whether or not there is an afterlife, or....something else.
