If the blues had a Sinatra, Bobby Blue Bland was that vocalist.

Bland, a Tennessee native, died in his home in Germantown, TN today, leaving a long legacy of performance in song.

Great Music

I did a phone interview years ago with BB King. Asked him about his work with Bobby, said it was just so easy to work together because he was a gifted and generous singer. If you want a treat listen to their album, my favorite is "I'd like to live the love I sing about."
