Blame the Democrats for voting to keep your health insurance, your premium subsidies, your Medicaid, your coverage for pre-existing conditions, keeping your rural hospitals open, and all that other onerous stuff in Obamacare.

Don't blame us. Vote for us for trying to protect you from all that."

Let's do something even if it's wrong

The "lets just slap something together" and see if enough people vote for it.

I do not have confidence in these guys coming up with anything.

The ACA, whatever its problems, was at least a sincere, thoughtful, massive effort, attempt at improving health care for people.

This is just a panicky, impulsive, reactive mess. No matter whoever is doing it, this type of process would not work for anything. Other than pure luck.
