Here is an outstanding 1963 photograph from the Knoxville News Sentinel archives that is loaded with drama, emotion, and irony. Check the "now playing" handbill in the background. Whoever took that shot was/is a master of his/her craft. The photo accompanies an article kicking off Black History Month. The article has some historical background on the photo.
