Today we decide whether we are going forward or backward, whether we have Medicare and Social Security or poor houses for the elderly, whether we have health insurance for everyone or only the wealthy, whether women get to make their own decisions about their own health care or let a bunch of old rich guys in Washington decide for them, and whether we want more senseless wars overseas or nation building here in America.

In Tennessee we decide whether we are going to have vouchers and privatized schools for profit or a strong and effective public education system, whether we have an expanded, federally funded Medicaid safety net or overflowing emergency rooms, and whether we let corporate special interests run roughshod over our environment and our workers or we level the playing field for working people and small businesses.

You decide.

Barack Obama for President
Martin Pleasant for Senate
Troy Goodale for Congress 2nd District
Mary Headrick for Congress 3rd District
Evelyn Gill for State Senate 6th District
Gloria Johnson for State House 13th District
Jerome Miller for State House 14th District
Joe Armstrong for State House 15th District
Anthony Hancock for State House 18th District
Jim Hackworth for State House 33rd District
