Good speech ...

Obama delivers diatribe against GOP: 'What happened to the Republican party?'

Midterms ..

"Don't tell me your vote doesn't matter," he said, referring to voting as the "antidote" to all that ails Washington. "And if you thought elections don't matter, I hope these last two years have corrected the impression."

Obama slams Republicans: Trump is 'capitalizing on resentment'

That was a great speech. One

That was a great speech. One for the ages in these unfortunate times. I sure do miss Obama. Liked what he said to insurgent Democrats, too. "Better is good. Better is progress." Also, progress doesn't happen overnight, or something to that effect. Also, reminding America about when the economic recovery really started.

You guys can't keep your

You guys can't keep your bullshit narratives straight.

Obama then: There is no way trump will get 3% growth.

Obama now: I am the reason Trump is getting 4% growth.

Trump is insisting that there

Trump is insisting that there will be sustained 4%+ growth, and it will all be because of him. GDP was 4.1% last quarter, the best it’s been since 2014, when it hit 4.9%. Oh, yeah, and who was President then? Right. It was Obama. It’s Trump who can’t keep his narratives straight, because he’s insisted that everything was terrible under Obama, and any good stats were fake. Now that some good numbers appear from the same sources during his term, they’re all very real and obvious evidence of his brilliance. Which is it? It can’t be both.

Certainly, there are some strong economic indicators currently, most of which are continuations of trends from the last administration. Tariffs and other chaos threatens that, however. As Trump is so fond of saying, we’ll see what happens.

Oh, and also, even with all this great economic news, Mr. Trump still can’t get anywhere near breaking 50% in overall approval ratings.
