My theory that Georgia might be in play for Obama seems to be not so far out there after all. H/T Michael Silence.

Max Cleland say this about
Max Cleland say this about that lowlife who succeeded him:
Dear Elizabeth,
In 2002, Saxby Chambliss won his Senate seat in the final days by putting my picture next to Osama bin Laden and lying about me. It was despicable, but it worked.
This year, we can't let Chambliss use the same vile tactics to defeat Democratic challenger Jim Martin. After trailing by 17 points in the polls a month ago, Martin has roared back to make this race a dead heat with just 11 days left.
We all know what that means. The disgusting lies and the dirty tricks are just around the corner.
The DSCC needs the help of thousands of grassroots Democrats to raise $462,914 before midnight tomorrow so they can fight back against what we all know is coming. If we don't meet this goal, they simply won't be able to do everything necessary in the final weeks to win in Georgia and every other battleground state. It's now or never, folks.
We have to do it quick. The Republicans won't rest for one second. In fact, a group of Democratic senators will match your gift right now 2-to-1, getting us to that goal three times as fast. That means that even as little as $5 from you can make a big difference in meeting our goal.
Click here to rush $5 or more to the DSCC before the deadline tomorrow. Republicans will be all smears, all the time for the next 11 days, and we have to fight back.
Just like everywhere else, voters across the South are thirsting for real, transformational change. The Democratic wave has already given proud Democrat Kay Hagan a solid lead over incumbent Republican Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina.
Polls show the filibusterer-in-chief, Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell in the race of his life against Democrat Bruce Lunsford, and our candidate is even within a single point in Mississippi. We've only got 11 days to close these gaps.
All across this country people know that history is just days away. But let's make no mistake, if we don't give Barack Obama a filibuster-proof Senate majority, it will only take 41 Republican senators to stand in the way of everything we believe in. In these final hours, we cannot let that happen.
The DSCC's job is to give our Senate candidates the juice they need to win these decisive final days. Funding the campaign that will swamp every attack over these last two weeks and win a filibuster-proof majority is entirely up to us. Please contribute any amount you can afford - even as little as $5 - to this goal right away.
Click here to rush $5 or more to the DSCC before the deadline tomorrow. Republicans will be all smears, all the time for the next 11 days, and we have to fight back.
I've seen a lot of fights in my time, and I've got a pretty thick skin. There's nothing the other side can throw at me that will make me stop fighting for what we all believe in. And I know our Senate candidates won't back down from even the worst slimes.
But the stakes are too high and time is too short to let these attack ads and smear campaigns go unanswered. All the people thirsting for change are depending on us. Don't wait until it's too late.
Sincerely,
Max Cleland
I sent the Martin, Hagan,
I sent the Martin, Hagan, and Lunsford campaigns money a few days ago. I bypassed the DSCC so it would go direct, but maybe the DSCC can leverage it with matches, etc. Most candidates seem to use ActBlue to collect donations.
