I was thinking.... what kind of ads might the Obama campaign run if they wanted to get really nasty in response to the ugly turn the McCain campaign has taken.

Here's what I came up with.

Title: Five Years with Communists

(Imagine the usual deep, grim voiceover for this.)

John McCain. Five years... living with.... communists. Every meal he had for five years was provided by communists. For five years, his communist hosts regularly lectured him on communist doctrine. Every American he saw during those five year was also a guest of the Communists. He may have even been visited by Jane Fonda. He even refused to return to America when the communists told him he could go home. When will John McCain explain his days with the communists?

Disclaimer: I readily admit that would be way below the belt. Heck, if the Obama campaign actually stooped to that level, I'd probably be so disgusted I'd vote for McCain (okay, probably Nader.) But still, considering how low McCain is going, its fun to speculate.
