There you go again

Upon further reflection on Palin's use of "There you go again," it occurs to me that she was trolling Biden for a rebuke of Lloyd Bentsen versus Potatoe proportions. I noticed Biden smile with each of those cribbed lines. So what would the Bentsenesque comeback have been?

Palin: There you go again, Joe.
Biden: Oh sure, Sarah, you and John McCain and George Bush would be very pleased if all of a sudden the American people got amnesia, so they couldn't remember the failed policies that John McCain and the Republicans have supported for the last eight years. Well I don't think the average American wants to ever forget the way they were treated by the present Republican administration. It's what fuels their thirst for change, and John McCain can hardly be called an agent for change. He has after all voted with George Bush 95% of the time.
Sarah, I knew Ronald Reagan. He was a friend of mine. Even toward the end, he still knew the constitutional role of the Vice President. You are no Ronald Reagan.
