Keith Olbermann [1] (and Chris Matthews) will not be anchoring coverage of the coming debates or election night. Their egos are causing a problem. During the DNC, on the first night Olbermann jumped on Joe Scarborough then the next night he apparently thought Matthews talked too much. Does anyone talk more than Olbermann? I don't think so. He primarily wants to espouse his views and doesn't care what others have to say. Olbermann must think he is still announcing sporting events.
At a panel discussion in Denver, Mr. Brokaw acknowledged that Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews had “gone too far” at times, but emphasized they were “not the only voices” on MSNBC [2], according to The Washington Post.
Is Olbermann the left's Bill O'Reilly? Nah. He did take it too far during the primaries in his rejection of the HRC run for the presidency.
