KNS: $135,000 in grants going to downtown properties [1]

Seven downtown properties — including the site of the former S&W Cafeteria — will receive nearly $135,000 in development grants approved today by an organization funded by downtown Knoxville property owners.

Good news for the S&W renovation, we hope.

The article also says Bill Threlkeld was elected to the CBID board. We knew Bill from back in high school (when he was "Billy") and have run into him a couple of times since. He's good people.
