Is the public tired of your terrorist threat warnings that turn out to be nothing?

Has your color-coded security levels become a public joke?

Well, just in time for the 2008 election (and to put McCain in the White House), the Bush Administration is bringing you the long-awaited trial of... some people... connected to 9/11 somehow... well, we've heard of one of them, that KSM guy.... (say, whatever happened to that Osama guy?)

And, for some crazy reason, this will be the first and only trial to be PUBLIC!!!. Does that seem odd to anyone else?

I'm sure we ain't seen nothing yet...

More bad news from Iraq that will make us unable to leave

A few more al Queda guys to be arrested

Increased "chatter" including the word Democrats and jolly laughter

Dire news from Homeland Insecurity about how unprepared we are

An uptiick in the threat from Iran. Perhaps even (gulp) involving WMDs

Generals of all sorts being paraded out to endorse McCain and warn us all about withdrawal.

Code Red! Code Red! Escalated terror threats in NY, LA, everywhere.

A swift upsurge in the use of the best Republican "fav" lies
The surge is successful.
The Iraqi people are grateful.
Women are freer than they were under Saddam.
The Sunnis, Shites, and Kurds are coming together any minute now.

Sewer security

Though our port security is inadequate and there is one highway patrolman guarding the Oregon coast y'all can sleep securely knowing that the KUB sewer lines are well protected.

A clerk informed me that she couldn't reveal the exact location of a line over the phone. For that I'd have to come to the main office and sign in with a photo ID. Homeland security and all.
