WBIR has a feature story that analyzes several races, including some of the Black Wednesday losers, and maps their votes (or lack thereof). There are also maps for the presidential primary candidates. Pretty interesting.

What is that one funny shaped little district in the middle of the map that went black for Moore and Owings and white for Ballard? I need to make sure I'm never tempted to buy a house there.
IIRC, it's the 12th, which is approximately Morningside. That district has a tradition of funky voting. It went for Haslam, and for Greg Pinkston over Hultquist back in 2001.

I like. Sure wish there were some roads or something to better identify the precincts.
There's a good map of the precincts on the KGIS website. I opened that in another window and by comparing the two maps was able to tell what was what.
Of course, I know the city precinct pretty well by now, having worked in a few campaigns.
