Watching Bush's SOTU, I was ticking off the distortions one by one in my mind, thinking about writing them down but then I got sleepy.

Record oil prices. Check.
Record trade deficit in oil. Check.
Endless war in the Persian Gulf. Check.
Iraqi oil exports below pre-war levels. Check.

Now that’s what the White House calls “Increasing Energy Security.”

Antiques Roadshow is one of my favs. Taped it last night. Not that I watched the speech, believe I slept through it. I'm pretty sure I was awake up until Bush was ready to enter the chamber.

The President of a Thousand Lies

I can't believe I ate sat through the whole thing. Added to the 935 lies he is on record as telling in the run-up to his war in Iraq, he can easily become known as the President of a Thousand Lies by the time he is finally flushed from the White House.
