The Bi-Lo on Forest Park Blvd. is closing for good on Monday. The store has been a great community asset and I always found the people there very nice and helpful. They will be missed. I thought it was going to be converted to a Southern Family Markets but Food City purchased [1] the eight Knoxville Bi-Lo locations from SFM last month. I talked with some employees last evening when I was there and many have jobs lined up. They weren't sure what would happen to the location but one speculated maybe an Eagle's would move in. Now that would be good news for the area.
