Hoyt Canady's "Past Tense" column in today's News Sentinel has an interesting tidbit from 25 years ago:
President Reagan called CIA agents the "heroes of a grim twilight struggle" and signed a bill making it a crime to disclose the names of American spies.
It seems as though all the GOP Reagan wannabes running for president are having memory problems of their own, especially Fred Thompson.
