Dobson wouldn't know a real Christian if one bit him on the ass. A Christian is a person who strives to live by Christ's example (see the red letters). When has he been guilty of such behavior?
I've never been a Fred fan, but I must say that Dobson's "endorsement" adds a point or two to my assessment of him. Maybe Pat Robertson and Fred Phelps could chime in there and add a few more.
