It's snowing in Blount Co. right now as I type this. It's just light flurries and it's about 40 degrees, so I'm not expecting to get out the sled or anything.

Trivia: According to the Maryville Daily Times, tomorrow marks the 54th anniversary (that would be 1952 if my arithmetic is correct) of a record 18 and 1/2 inch snowfall in Blount Co.

I had a call this morning

I had a call this morning about running out to get bread and milk.  A friend who lives just outside Cleveland, Ohio, saw the radar image and had to jerk my chain.  She finds our little southern ritual so amusing.

Everyone Panic!!!

Wow.  Eighteen inches of snow in November?  Glad I missed that one.

I'd rather be cycling.

I dunno, I miss snow

I dunno, I miss snow terribly. No more heavy wool sweaters, alas. Guess I could move to Minnesota, but I understand even their levels have fallen fairly drastically.

Snow Flurries

Down here in the Chattanooga area, we had snow flurries on November 20th also. However, nothing stuck here in the city, nor in Hamilton County. (I am posting this comment assuming I do not have to pay to post. I did not get an answer to my query yet.)

I'm jealous. We don't get snow in Nashville anymore. Boohoo.
