Trump is having some sort of meltdown. He is actively covering up Russian interference in the next election and dismantling US intelligence services in the process. McConnell is complicit.

This is a national emergency.

Alas, Trump is going to get reelected. Unless his "base" and whatever is left of the Republican party wake up and realize they are being played by a vulgar, third-rate grifter who has become alarmingly unstable. Y'all need to primary him out of office. It doesn't appear that Democrats are up to the task.

I don't envy your options.

I don't envy your options. Let Bernie win and replay 1972 or take it away at the convention and give it to Bloomberg and replay 1968.

Nixon

Nixon was a lot more popular than Trump. I don’t see an exclusionary candidate doing well, but I can see a coalition of Biden, Warren and Sanders both winning the presidency and governing effectively.

That being said, there is far to much to do to expect a far reaching agenda to be instituted. The first four years will be cleaning up Trump’s mess. That goes for all the candidates.

Green with envy. The man is

Green with envy. The man is no leader. The man has no feelings. The man is a screwup. We can only hope he does not get reelected.
