What the...shame shame shame on you Randy!

I am officially revoking your "geeking cyber cutting edge cool card!" You sir have let me down... Just kidding my friend, however you did miss a huge awesomeness event and I hope you can add this and even isolate this in a post.

So here we go...For those that love Space we have a very cool event happening this weekend that happens not often! We got the International Space Station flying almost directly overhead of Knoxville.

This week actually is really jam packed with some great opportunites to see the International Space Station. See below!

Now for those that have not experienced the fun of seeing the ISS here are my tips.

1) Download a couple stargazing apps. Most include the ISS so it will be real easy to spot. Some quick ones that I have on my phone include Skyview, Skeye, ISS Tracker, ISS Detector...

2)Go to (link...)

3)That's it. In conclusion this is going to be a kind of cool way to end the crazy weekend. With Smokies Baseball, and Bristol along with everything else, this will kind of make the perfect ending for the entire family. To go out and watch the most advanced scientific device fly literally almost right over your house.

Here is the flight path for the next few coming days.

Thanks for the tip Dan. Just

Thanks for the tip Dan. Just saw the ISS. Will look again tomorrow night.

Also thanks for the tip on Skyview. Was using Google Sky Maps which they abandoned. The open source version is still being maintained, but it doesn't track ISS.

Skyview is a great replacement with lots more features.

It's Bristol Baby, NASCAR comes to East Tennessee

At one point in time, Tennessee had more NASCAR races than any other state with 5 races in Bristol two cups, two Busch races, one truck race, two Busch races in Nashville, and two Busch races in Memphis.

Unfortunately, NASCAR doesn't stop in Memphis or Nashville anymore, the only stop being Bristol, but it's racing at it's rural roots and a motorsport that everyone should experience along the way.

EarthFest 2016

EarthFest 2016 is the perfect productive alternative to the celebration of death and destruction happening at the airport.
