The Ford Report has an exclusive first look at Harold Ford Jr.'s latest ad.

In it, Ford takes the GOP's empty "tough on terrorism" rhetoric and spikes it right back across the net at them.

I was hoping he'd point out

I was hoping he'd point out how the occupation of Iraq wasn't doing a bit of good against this kind of threat.  I guess the implication was there for those of us looking for it without pissing off the ones who didn't want to hear it.  Maybe he doesn't really mean, "...there is nothing, nothing more important than our security," but this is probably the message he needs to put out there to get elected.  Anyway, he comes across as intelligent, competent and moderate.  Good qualities unless you believe in representative government.
