We may not know much before tomorrow, or even later in the week. Or, one candidate might win OH, VA and FL and put it to bed early. Discuss here.

many voters in line

It seems that the Election office decided they did not need as many machine at polling places as in the past, based on early vote and some unknown reason. Therefore there are people waiting in line all over town.

Do you think there is a reason for making it harder to vote today? Many believe so.

I also heard some people in middle and west TN are having to wait two hours in line. Wonder if they have fewer machines, too.

I would be surprised if the Election Office numbers are released before 9:30 as they accomodate those in line at 8.

Of course, Fox News runs the

Of course, Fox News runs the headline "Four More Years: How He Won ...But Wall Street's Not Too Happy," and reports that the Dow Jones average dropped 270 points this morning. For some reason, however, they don't mention that even after that, it's still better than 4,000 points higher than the day Obama took office (or that the market has literally doubled in value since it bottomed out in March of 2009, a scant month and a half after Mr. Bush left office). They also don't mention that it's already coming back up after lunch today.

Those folks at Fox sure were flustered last night, but I knew it wouldn't take long for them to get back to business.
