How many blogs can a woodchuck chuck?

I had a chance to spread the word about KnoxViews and the Rocky Top Brigade [1] during a New England trip [2] over the past couple of weeks, and to see what variations on the "grassroots/community/citizen journalism" idea are going on up where they define a "Yankee" as someone from Vermont who eats apple pie for breakfast.

Some examples: NewsMaine [3], H2Otown.info [4], Westport Now [5], iBrattleboro [6], and the New Haven Independent [7]... for coverage of a panel discussion of some of them, see this account by Jemima Kiss [8], a British visitor who blogged the Media Giraffe [9] conference at UMass, and was blogged about in return [10].

That gang-of-bloggers experience reminded me how thin I've spread my own blogging, not that "focus" was ever one of my strong points. So I'm putting this item here to spread myself a little thinner... and to point anyone looking for more frequent stuff from me to my main "Other Journalism [11]" blog and my old backup blogger blog [12]. Just ignore this one [13] and that one [14]...
