TVA chairman launches GOP PAC

Yesterday it was announced that Mike Duncan, now chairman of the board of TVA, is behind American Crossroads, a GOP political action committee pledging to raise $50 million for Republican candidates across the country.

There's also a statement from TVA regarding the Hatch Act.

Mike Duncan needs to resign from one of these two organizations. There is a clear conflict of interest.

I knew when Bush nominated this, um, former head of the RNC, the one who created salacious, spiteful ads against Barack Obama, that we were in for more GOP dominated ignorance at TVA.
He should resign immediately. No one working for a government agency is to be allowed to politic publicly...Period...not the USPS, the US Military...and certainly not at TVA.
We need to get him off this board...now.

I still can't believe this guy was elected chairman. There was talk about his perceived conflicts of interest at the time. No he goes and does this.
