Hello fellow Democrats:
I’m a Democrat of the Democratic Party, and I do not agree with our Democratic Party representatives in Washington.
Our Democratic Party has moved to the far-left, and we as Democrats are extremely dissatisfied with the "Change We Can Believe In" politicians and their obsession with making our Nation more like the Europe our founding fathers had left behind.
Most Democrats already know their pleas to the Democratic Party are only being answered by repeated insult and injury. Many of our elected officials are no longer thinking of themselves as being our representatives, but instead refer to themselves as leaders in the true form of tyrants.
To all intents and purposes, our elected representatives within the Democratic Party are no longer following in the time-honored footsteps laid down by the founding fathers of our great Nation. In fact, we as democrats see our elected representatives within the Democratic Party abandoning the principles and values as set forth within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
Furthermore, many of our Democratic Party representatives in Washington are tainted by corruption, and the liberals among us are supporting far-left socialist radicals with their agendas based on moving our Nation deeper into a socialist form of government. This is a real threat to everything we hold sacred in America, and they are gaining evermore control over our Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people.
Despite this, we as Democrats can restore control of the Democratic Party back to the party members. All we need to do is provide our support in making sure donations are made directly to patriotic and honorable Democratic Party candidates that are not corrupt or socialists.
So please help spread the message to everyone of our fellow Democrats. Also, don't forget to contact and request the Unions and other outside contributors to follow our lead as patriotic Americans.
Thank you, and God Bless America.
Eric Pearson, Democratic Party candidate for U.S. Congress, 5th Congressional District, Tennessee.

I'll vote for Eric Pearson
I like the truth this man is saying, and I'm going to vote for him.
About time for someone to standup and tell the truth.
It's about time someone within the democratic party is willing to tell the truth and run for office. I only wish we had more of them doing so within the democratic party. Who knows, I might vote for him in 2010.
Wow, two users with
Wow, two users with consecutive UIDs that have been members for less than an hour.
Smells like socks in here.
P.S. If the Obama administration is far left, then I'm Notorious B.I.G.

"Meet Eric Pearson": A Reputable Biographical Account of Eric Pearson, Democratic Party candidate for U.S. Congress, 5th Congressional District, Tennessee.
Mr. Pearson, posting this message on the internet from Tennessee to texas does not make you a candidate. It makes you a spammer, and your bellicose rhetoric does nothing to advance any more sensible policies for our state or nation. That is all. Goodbye.
Free tips for the aspiring politician/comedy writer.
- If you're going to troll a message board with your socks, it helps to establish them for a week or two first. Make some lighthearted comments on lifestyle threads, pop a joke or two... really establish the writing style of your personas, you get me?
- I'm not the world's biggest fan of the Dems but even I think you're distasteful attacking your "own" the way you do. So much so, in fact, that I am thoroughly convinced you're nothing more than a straw man, hoping vainly to create the perception of a rift in a party that even I have to admit is gaining a disturbing amount of traction. (Well, everywhere in the state but here, thank God.)
- If you want to position yourself as some kind of reformer, it helps not to sound like EVERY FREAKIN' BODY ELSE who has ever tried and failed to wear the mantle. Less yap, more work.
- Above all else, don't quit your day job. Unless, of course, this is it. A McDonald's somewhere desperately needs someone to clean its bathrooms.

Jim Cooper for Congress!
Been saying that since 1982 & will say it again in 2010.
Jim Cooper for Congress!!!!
Why do you keep voting for Jim Cooper?
Hi Bill:
I would really like to know why you keep voting for Jim Cooper? Below are some of the reason I do not vote for him.
Congressman Jim Cooper does not support habeas corpus for prisoners at Guantanamo, and has refused to support legislation to close Guantanamo.
Congressman Jim Cooper has refused to support the “Restoring the Constitution Act of 2007,” which would make “significant changes to provisions of the Military Commissions Act of 2006 by restoring the writ of habeas corpus for individuals held under U.S. jurisdiction, narrowing the definition of an unlawful enemy combatant, preventing the use of evidence gained through torture and coercion, and requiring the U.S. to abide to its Geneva Convention obligations.” More importantly, Jim Cooper has declined to sign onto legislation that requires the U.S. to live up to the Geneva Conventions.
Congressman Jim Cooper has refused to support efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Iraq.
Congressman Jim Cooper supports continuing the U.S. aggression in Iraq, he is against insisting on Congressional oversight of the war effort, and wants to give the NSA a pass to go around the FISA Courts.
Congressman Jim Cooper refused to support legislation that would hold mercenaries (a/k/a “contractors”) to the same standards of conduct expected of American soldiers.
Congressman Jim Cooper has refused to push for a ban on cluster bombs used in the vicinity of civilians.
Congressman Jim Cooper has refused to support legislation that would ban the so-called “outsourcing” of torture.
Congressman Jim Cooper has refused to sign onto legislation that would investigate and probably reign in WHINSEC, the U.S. government’s notorious training school for torturers and terrorists.
Congressman Jim Cooper isn't interested in repealing the so-called “Real ID” act. In case you have not heard, “Real ID” was slipped through into law without debate a few years ago. It gives states a very expensive unfunded mandate to create a national ID card, and many privacy experts see the data base it is supposed to create as an invitation to snooping and identity theft.
Congressman Jim Cooper has failed to achieve a leadership position within the U.S. House of Representatives over the past six years in office.
Congressman Jim Cooper voted for the $825 billion economic stimulus package without reading it first.
Congressman Jim Cooper refused to have hometown meetings with the citizens of his community on the issue of Health Care.
Congressman Jim Cooper has repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, and prominent members of the media.
Here are the industries who have donated to Congressman Jim Cooper's campaigns:
$651,803 Lawyers/Law Firms
$502,323 Securities & Investment
$299,103 HOSPITALS/NURSING HOMES
$237,532 HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
$216,255 Real Estate
$197,306 Retired
$184,759 INSURANCE
$133,981 HEALTH SERVICES/HMOS
$128,930 Miscellanies Finance
$125,398 MISCELLANIES HEALTH
$112,050 Commercial Banks
$107,696 Accountants
$105,107 Education
$104,650 PHARMACEUTICALS/HEALTH PRODUCTS
That totals up to almost $1 million for Congressman Jim Cooper from health care special interests!
As for all the “good Americans” who have kept Congressman Jim Cooper in office with their votes and their blind allegiance to his party label, all that can be said is, Wake up!

So Pearson isn't progressive or left enough? Is that the point?
Lykins, should you be accusing anyone of being a spammer? You do pretty well in that regard yourself. Kettle and bot issues?
I'm more of a copy/paste
I'm more of a copy/paste type that doesn't like to think for himself much; propagandist, server of the kool aid, cheerleader, attention whore, nothing more than a troll with meaningless regurgitations of shop worn left talking points. I definitely have more issues than answers.
And if I were to be completely honest with myself, I would probably find that my "activism" probably started with trying to impress a lady (not enough for her to move back to Knoxville, and the current interest wouldn't give a rat's ass to know how legislative sausage is made - thinks I should run the whole state as long as I did a good job and shut the hell up about it.)
I'm completely full of myself because I'm awesome and want you to know it, but I don't repeat my manifesto on blogs from Tennessee to texas to Florida to Maryland. It seemed very spammy and I brought him here in hopes that he would lay off the tndp site. It sounds like he finally agrees that he has no candidacy, and this should all be over soon.
Why does one (actual) opponent of Cooper's have a video of Cooper saying a lot of reasonable things concerning health care? I don't get it. It seems like the weakest attack attempt ever.
The other guy is going to take thuggery out of our schools and send all of the hoodlums to military school. Cute.
"a centrist compromise on health care reform is a lot like a salt lick." Jim Cooper
Eric,thanks for the link
The linked story really shows how Jim's mind works.
I've known Jim a long time & he's always been able
to find the "sweet spot" in legislation to get a
bill passed & signed into law.
It doesn't matter if one agrees with what Jim has
to say & many that post & comment on Knoxviews don't.
But it does matter,on health care reform,to listen
to what Jim has to say.
Because:
1.Jim's been involved with the health care
issue for nearly 2 decades & knows it backwards
& fowards.
2.What Jim supports,in the conference committee health care reform bill,is what will be close to the bill that passes & the President signs into law.
Again Eric..thanks for the link.
I do not agree with our Democratic Party representatives.
I am a Democrat of the Democratic Party, and I do not agree with our Democratic Party representatives in Washington.
Many of us are now ashamed to be Democrats. More than that, we have come to fear our own Democratic Party. Hatred and corruption - the roots of socialism - are on the march as they have never been before, and leading this march is our Democratic Party. Increasingly, mainstream Democrats are uncomfortable with what they are seeing in our party. All the more, we know it is dangerous.
We as Democrats are marching in a parade with people Harry Truman or even Jack Kennedy would not recognize - socialist (also know as progressives) who think that Western civilization began in 1969. Strangely, without meaning to, we the mainstream Democrats find ourselves representing this socialist movement. However, for the socialist within our Democratic Party, there is nothing so strange about it. Socialists have always sought to leverage corruption for the sake of power.
Without doubt a large majority of our Democratic Party representatives in Washington are tainted by corruption, and the liberals among us are supporting the ideologies of progressives with their agendas based on moving our Nation deeper into a socialist form of government. This is a real threat to everything we hold sacred in America, and they are gaining evermore control over our Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people.
As a result, our Democratic Party has already lost the equivalent of every member we have acquired over the past seven years or more, and many of them are now supporting the tea party. More importantly, a recent Newsweek cover declared, "We are all socialists now."
Meanwhile our middle-class families are looking for more than empty promises. They want to go back to work. And they want our Democratic Party representatives who run Washington to stop pursuing a big government, big spending agenda that includes a government takeover of health care, stimulus bills, a new national energy tax and taxpayer-funded bailouts.
In spite of everything our Democratic Party representatives in Washington will borrow $1.6 trillion this year, or about $15,000 for every household in the country. Over the next 10 years our federal government is expected to borrow an additional $8.5 trillion, and this is on top of the 12 trillion we currently owe. These figures are beyond being enormous, especially since we already pay one in seven dollars in interest.
Thank you, and God bless America
