A man committed suicide Friday morning by jumping from his 7th floor apartment window at Summit Towers in downtown Knoxville. This is the third suicide at this federally subsidized apartment facility for low-income and disabled/elderly this year.

Whether it be Knoxville, the State of Tennessee, or the Federal goverment, I think it is time authorities take notice and research how to help the people living at Summit Towers. I'm guessing this is a pretty high rate of suicide for an apartment complex of this size.

My condolences go out to his family, friends, and neighbors.
