December 2000 seems so much like an age of innocence now.

Here's the prez-elect, cracking wise to CNN:

If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

"Presidenting" may be hard work, but I suppose that his job just got a whole lot easier.

Y'know, now that he's going to get a "Justice" who's in line with the whole "if the president does it, it's not illegal" vibe.

He's a step closer to his dream, complete with squared mustache, and unquestioned constitutional authority to smash kittens on camera.
