Does anybody know why Farragut got power surges every hour on the half hour between 4:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. today? I thought maybe it was just my neighborhood, but a friend of mine in Island Home said they'd been getting them too. I would blame it on weather, but the every hour on the half mark precision makes me wonder.

I admit to being asleep

I admit to being asleep during those hours so I don't know if we got them or not (also in Island Home).

But we're on KUB power and I suspect you guys are on LC so it's hard to imagine a connection.

Curious to hear what others report.

Yeah I only kept waking up because my computer surge protector (in my bedroom) kept beeping when it switched to battery. The electricity went out for about two seconds each time. I was up for it when it happened at 7:30, but I was gone by 8:30. It's just really puzzling to me.
