...you'll love Iran.

The CIA has received secret presidential approval to mount a covert "black" operation to destabilize the Iranian government, current and former officials in the intelligence community tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the subject, say President Bush has signed a "nonlethal presidential finding" that puts into motion a CIA plan that reportedly includes a coordinated campaign of propaganda, disinformation and manipulation of Iran's currency and international financial transactions.

The lame ducks are roosting.

Shah of Iran

Is our government trying to reinstall the Shah of Iran I thought he died years ago. Geeez, you talk about puppets, this must be the ultimate puppet.

This is totally political

And how many billions will this cost? And how effective will it be? Geesh, we're bleeding money all over the place, installing puppets that milk us even more. Guys who then turn against us. We're paying Pakistan to protect their borders, so terrorists won't be coming into Iraq. We know they're not meeting this obligation because they just reduced the amount of troops dedicated to this, but we're paying them anyway. Bush and the Congress spend like drunken sailors and we get the hangover. It's not that we shouldn't try to win the hearts and minds of our people in other countries, but we go about it in such a stupid manner. No one loves us, let alone likes us anymore. They're scared to death we will bring another Iraq to their country. And who can blame them?
