Bring husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, significant others, whoever you want! Let me know if you're coming, and how many you're bringing so I can let Barley's know ahead of time. Howdy Ya'll
I'm a former teacher turned PhD. candidate [ & die-hard Tennessean ] at UT. I've just launched a blog as both a medium for my research in social theory and a teaching tool that will feature posts from local academic types and activists on current issues through an education lens.
I just came over here to KnoxViews to see what was going on in the local blog scence when I came across this post about a 'bloggerfest'. I'm excited to see such an active community is alive and well here in the Valley! If I can get out of my plans, I'll drop by Barley's tonight. Where can I find you guys?
Note: It's tomorrow night,
Note: It's tomorrow night, Saturday. You can probably ask a bartender and they can direct you.
DUH!
Thanks for the heads up! I'll be there anyway as I'll be running sound for the band... :)
I was right! I knew you saw
I was right!
I knew you saw all. And I want a nice, cold IPA for Christmas.
Katie and I are planning on attending, assuming babysitting remains a go.
Like Santa....
I see all!*grin*
I'm everywhere!
So far it looks like about 15-20 people are coming, so it looks like the Old City is in for blogging blowout! (I adore alliteration!)
I'm looking forward to meeting everybody, and hoping to reconnect with some old familiar faces.
Darn wishy-washy liberals
Rich, it depends on whether I accompany my wife to her social function or not. Count me as a maybe...
I think I will go too, esp
I think I will go too, esp if a juggling baby or a baby being juggled or either Cathy or Doug will be there :)

I'm hoping to go, but it's looking unlikely. Maybe I'll be able to stop by later on in the evening, but it's going to be a busy weekend.
