Barack Obama has missed 196 votes (40.6%) during the current
Congress. (Democrat who is second to only Tim Johnson the SD Democratic Senator who suffered a brain hemorrage)

Hillary Clinton has missed 141 votes (29.2%) during the current
Congress.

Some responses that I have received have started regurgitating that infamous "Barack was a community organizer with vast International Relations experience. This is my response to such comments:

It's great that Obama worked as a community organizer. I think
that has been regurgitated enough. Hillary worked to develop the
Children's Defense Fund, pass S-chip, worked to develop micro credit
programs for women in developing countries around the world.

IF Obama had this vast experience in International Relations then his
IR advisor should and could have cited any experience on the BBC news
the other night. Her only response was that he had "run things."
Again, this is just another example of how the Obama campaign refuses
to be pinned down to anything. His vast inexperience is shown in the
following remark on Good Morning America:

Roberts: "You're calling for a slight withdrawal of troops and I need
to ask you this -- are you concerned that your lack of experience,
when it comes to foreign policy, may hurt your chances in the run for
the White House?" [Note Robin's apologetic "I need to ask you."]

Obama: "Well, actually, my experience in foreign policy is probably
more diverse than most others in the field. I'm somebody who has
actually lived overseas, somebody who has studied overseas. I majored
in international relations.

Actually the truth is, he majored in political science with an
emphasis in International Relations.

An "emphasis" is a word that an individual chooses to put on a
resume. It's not even the same thing as a concentration and does not
carry the weight, class load or experience of a concentration let
alone the major that Obama claimed to have.

All he can do is brag over and over about living overseas. His only
real overseas living experience was when he was between the ages of 6-
10. So, I'll go back to my original statement that for him to
indicate that he had the ability at even 10 years old to prepare for
his future presidency, represents the height of arrogance and an
arrogant president is NOT what we need.

Lastly, on his war ending; You do realize, that it isn't just over
the first day of anyone's presidency? Why? Because it's going to
require intense organization to get the troops, equipment, and on-the-
ground allies of the United States out peacefully.

We cannot leave the allies there as Obama indicates on his own
website.

His "plan" on his website is more regurgitation of "I was right when
I made a speech." His only plan is to begin withdrawing troops
immediately but it will still be long and drawn out. He doesn't
really have a plan, just a speech. He also has left himself some
loophole provisions in which to keep some troops over there for the
long term.

If he were to say, "I do not have a specific plan," that would be far
better for him as a candidate. If he were to say: (on almost every
issue) these are my ideas but I will also be surrounding myself with
specific people who will provide me with the details and information
that I need to make the best decision for the United States, the
people of the U.S. and the interaction of the U.S. with the world,
then we would at least recognize that he is learning and will allow
himself to be open to (negative or bad) information that these people
may have to give him. Instead, he continues to talk about his great
oration of the past with very little substance for the future. This
is dangerous for our party and our country.

Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer announced this afternoon that he had engaged a prostitute. Speculation is he will resign.

Three quick observations:

  • This is payback for the Wall Street Crusader stuff. He's also gone after NY State Senate Leader Joseph Bruno, who is extremely powerful. Bruno is a Sith lord of dirty politics
  • He may have violated the Mann Act as the prostitute is thought to have come to DC to visit him from New York. This is considered "white" slavery, though it probably will be a charge that the leaders of the prostitution ring will face, not the johns.
  • He's a Hillary supporter. Will she repudiate him?

Another thought: I think he has to go as this is a executive position. GOP creeps* like David Vitter can ease along in these cases because of the limited scope of their office. The State of NY is different from some Louisiana congressional district.

*Spitzer is a creep too. The look on his wife's face should tell every jerk who cheats what pain stepping out on your wife causes.

another new product to avoid

McDonald's, and just about every other server of coffee "cream", have gone over in the last few months to a new product marked "no refrigeration needed." According to the label, it contains milk, cream, datem, sodium phosphate, sodium polyphosphate, sodium citrate and carrageenan. Datem, which I assumed comes from dates, is an acronym for Di-Acetyl Tartrate Ester of Monoglyceride, an emulsifier. Sounds like something I want to avoid. Tomato Head, on the other hand, offers organic cream with their coffee.

Senator Clinton in a Newsweek interview (emphasis added):

There are elected delegates, caucus delegates and superdelegates, all for different reasons, and they're all equal in their ability to cast their vote for whomever they choose. Even elected and caucus delegates are not required to stay with whomever they are pledged to.
